“Rock Hard 1977” is the board game that has been conceived and designed by Jackie Foxwho was the bassist of the legendary rock band The Runaways. Now its publication in our country is confirmed.
Jackie Fox was bassist of The Runaways, without a doubt one of the essential and most influential rock bands made by women. After leaving the formation led by Joan Jett, Fox dedicated herself to being a lawyer for film artists, among other things. What we didn't imagine is that she was a big fan of board games, something that her followers on gaming platforms discovered a few years ago.
The fact is that now she is responsible for the board game “Rock Hard 1977”which has created and which Jennifer Giner has illustrated, and that it is a game that belongs to the specialized company Devir. Hence, its appearance in Spanish has already been confirmed, although still without a specific date.
In the game, we will be a promising musician in the year 1977 and you will have to go through stages such as rehearsing, writing songs, promoting your band and other obligatory steps to become the “breakthrough artist of the year.” It is a game for two to five players – ages fourteen and up – lasting between forty-five and ninety minutes. The objective is to increase your fame to become that artist of the moment. The player markers are an amplifier and the tokens are guitar picks, so you'll be living in a rock fantasy from start to finish.
If you are interested in the game, and pending an exact release date in our country, You can find out more in this same link. The game will be published in Spain by Devir.
