Anna Cardwell's Death Rocks the Family and Mama June's Secret Vow Renewal Turns Volatile in Family Crisis Teaser (Exclusive)

Mama June Shannon and her daughters are back for another emotional rollercoaster ride.

In PEOPLE's exclusive look at WEtv's mid-season teaser for Mama June: Family Crisis, Mama June, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efrid must put their money matters aside when Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell's cancer progresses.

When Anna tells her family members that her tumors have grown "triple the sizes they were," Mama June claims, "this s--- is getting serious," as she and her daughters try to figure out what's next for Anna and her children.

In the trailer, Anna, who was diagnosed with stage four adrenal carcinoma in January, eventually dies from her disease and the family gears up to "face the hardest moment of out lives."

Upon her death, everyone gathers in Mama June's house, where Anna's husband Elridge Toney and her daughters Kylee and Kaitlyn receive her ashes.

"Anna passed away," Mama June cries in a conversation with cameras. "I would spend every last penny just to have her back."

Eventually, the family discovers that Anna never signed papers dictating the custody of her girls. With Kylee leaving to live with her father, Michael Cardwell, rights to Kaitlyn's custody remains up in the air and Mama June tells Justin of her plans to go to court for her guardianship.

"What if Mama gets in front of that judge and she's like you gave up custody of your kids?" Pumpkin asks Alana in another scene before saying to cameras, "I don't know who the hell would grant her full custody of a child."

As the family grapples with Anna's death, Mama June's marriage to her husband Justin Stroud seems to be on the rocks. Desperate to save their union, she whisks Justin and her daughters away for a vacation.

During their trip, Mama June leads Justin to an outdoor space decorated with flowers, balloons and a cake. When they stand in front of an officiate, she reveals that Mama June has planned a surprise vow renewal for the couple.

"Do you renew your vows to June today?" the officiant asks, to which Justin replies with a confused, "Huh? It's not the problem here."

In another scene, tensions begin to rise between the duo.

"How many times in the last year have I asked you to go to counseling?" Mama June asks.

Justin, overcome with emotion, yells back, "F--- you and counseling!" and slams the door behind him as he leaves.
