I've seen La La Land and White Boy Rick from these. White Boy Rick was a thoroughly average movie to me, one of those choices here that is kind of a head-scratcher as to how anyone could select that as one of their best-of-the-decade picks. La La Land was an all-around delight and is an easy pick here.

Dang I think 13 assassins was my submission. Please watch for those who haven’t seen. Really Great movie- great action, beautiful cinematography with natural lighting (the candle lit scenes look great), interesting questions about honor and the roll of morality over duty. Having said all that… I still voted for lala land because that film is so special for me. Though I don’t think it’ll need my help to win

13 Asses has a terrific samurai battle sequence that lasts 45 minutes uninterrupted. One of Takashi Miike's finest hours out of his entire 100+ film filmography and it's also better than the original 1963 film. Saying all that I vote for La La Land which is just too beautiful of a film to not choose it.

Ah, gotta love the battle sequences in 13 Asses

13 Asses

Sounds pretty gay.

I know, I can't believe I haven't seen it already.

Should be directly up your... alley.

Only one of this group I’ve seen is La La Land, so I’ll abstain yet again, but I hope it wins because it’s in my top 5 of the decade.
