Watched this one recently and it certainly filled a void for me.
I'm a fan of Richard Brake from a few Rob Zombies, Barbarian, Mandy, Doom, and so on. A dirty and gritty actor. Since enjoying No Country for Old Men, I really haven't had that itch scratched. But this comes close! It is hard to beat the cast and story of that movie. But this is also a timed crime piece with many puckering decision-making and events. Good acting, solid story, enough action. I'd watch it again.
Highly recommend. Worth the rent. I think you can find it on Youtube or Apple etc.

It reminds me of a Tarantino flick. The dialog is pulpy, and the characters are more cartoonish than No Country For Old Men.

Loved it. Such a tight, brisk neo-western crime thriller. This is the first time in a very long time I’ve seen something that felt like it came from the post-Pulp Fiction era 90s, and was actually good.
I have been trying to rep this movie on Reddit for weeks (saw the premiere Las year), but my posts keep being taken down.

I have developed a layer of Reddit mod neck beard protection by using a defense in layers. The first layer is a synthetic oil so they slide off. The second layer, I use Barrisol shaving cream - it seem to distract them into finding frozen dinosaur eggs. Lastly, I entice them with a thing that makes noise. Good mods aren't they. Give'em a treat and a lil' reacharound. Ya'll just doin' it wrong.
