Yeah I have been playing so much Asa recently trying to learn the ways of the game and such
Not quite as many here but well enough close to 4K hours between the two versions, I remember it as well. I remember just starting out, getting my first mount a raptor running through the swamps of the island, leading the pack mule of a trike around.
My first tame was a like a level 15 trike
Been playing since drop and I still haven’t completed a cave/ artifact run. Over a 1000 hours and not one. Good job.

Yeah I hope to change that 😅 it’s peaceful but at a certain point I get to the “now what?” Phase, take a little bit off, and then start a new play through. I’m trying to stick with this play through to the end.
Did this for a looong time till I finally decided to knock out the island bosses with my brother. We both went....ok we did that. And went back to playing the same way
Im doing it solo since I work a bunch and have kids so I always felt bad trying to play with other people. I’d get on one day and we’d start out and then a bunch of stuff would come up and then I wouldn’t be able to get on for week or so and my buddies tamed like a bunch of Rexes and made a bad ass base and everything and then I’d lose interest because I didn’t have to do anything. No skin in the game
That’s me, I have maybe 3-400 hours total on ASE and ASA, and besides base building and taming, I’m trying to actually finish the game and kill the bosses which will take me a while longer, but I’m trying to try my hand at mutations right now
Same! Over a thousand hours, and I have only done the scorched boss fight. None of the others. I just build cool bases, tame creatures and mutation breed for the fun colours.

It's a great feeling getting your first artifact. I remember it took me ages and many, many failed attempts before I finally got the Artifact of the Devourer. Keep it up!

Hardest? Just bring some megatheriums in cryos and it's basically an XP farm.
I did it with a frog, I was trying to get cementing paste, I seen a guide on YouTube talking about upgrading its damage as much as possible with weight

Congrats bro, i only know how to get only one artifact on the island, I enjoy taming and build and i dont know so much about tek structures and ammo so I just be happy building ñ.ñ
That’s me, I always focused on taming and breeding animals, I finally decided to really focus on farming so I can try to make kibble for Rex’s and the Giga once I try to go after it

I’m always slow! I played on the island on ASA with my Canadian buddy on release. Within a month people had tek and was doing alpha boss fights. I still didn’t enter a cave 😂
We entered the tek era at the end of March, we are slow, but really enjoyed the process
That’s the part I like about it is taking it pretty slow and learning all the stuff I never learned how to do from ASE
I like to breed also, so working on my dinos and getting the stats etc, I love to build so there’s always that to do, farm resources, this time round I did lots of trading
Picked a pretty hard cave for your first artifact lol
I live in the RedWoods, have a some decent animals. I did the cave on a frog trying to grind cementing paste and get the loot from the loot things. I was just exploring when I found it. I leveled my frogs damage up and used gilly gloves and shoes and scuba tank, pants and mask to not die from the toxic air. Seen that on a YouTube guide

You can fly a argentavis thru 3 of the caves. The one in south, lava cave and the one just outside Cano can be flown thru on a argentavis.
