Future clowned after wishing son happy birthday; fans praise Russell Wilson

Fan’s jokes about Future rained down onto the rapper’s social media page en masse after as he wished his son a happy birthday.

The 40-year-old Atlanta native, whose real name is Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, sent a message to Future Zahir Wilburn, 10, the son he had with singer Ciara. 

“Thank God for Baby Future. More life More blessings…I love u [infinitely],” he penned on X.

Fans pelted Future with petty posts

Pettiness reigned afterward as fans negatively compared Future’s paternal gesture to the stepdad that Future Jr. lives with, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson.

“Bro we gotta let Russel have him… focus on the other 12 my king….” one X user left this thought under Future post, while a second person opined that “Russ gave him a better shoutout that’s crazy.”

A third fan, with no knowledge either way how frequently Future sees his son, added, “My boy u need to go see him or sumn.”

Fans say, Wilson, 35, who now plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, had a more elaborate birthday celebration for Future Jr., replete with a photo carousel and the caption that included, “We are so proud of you and so grateful for you. You are our biggest blessing.”

Ciara, 38, posted a separate photo carousel featuring her biological son, saying “He’s anointed, loved, blessed, smart, funny, fun, gifted, special..and today He’s 10 years old!” while the DJ Khaled song “GOD DID” echoed in the background.
