Kenyan chef disqualified from Guinness World Records

In a related report, Kenyan chef Maliha Mohammed was devastated in April when she learned she would not be the Guinness World Record holder for the person who can cook for the longest hours.

In June 2023, Chef Maliha took on the challenge of a cook-a-thon trial as she sought to break Hilda Baci's Guinness World Record of cooking for 100 straight hours.

She apologised to Kenyans for 'letting them down' and hoped to give the competition another shot when the time was right.
