A recent report provides an update on MLW’s potential plans to host events in Canada.

Following last week’s report about the company’s consideration of holding an event in Toronto, Ontario, Pwinsider has indicated that MLW intends to conduct site surveys later this month in both Toronto and Alberta. However, it’s unknown which cities within Alberta are under consideration.

The idea is to build around a homecoming for Davey Boy Smith Jr. at some point.

The recent Azteca Lucha show in Chicago garnered a very positive response, with reports of “very high” morale in the MLW locker room.

The event was a success for the company, as it broke its merchandise record with nearly sold-out sales by 9:00 PM.

Additionally, MLW has released a documentary chronicling Satoshi Kojima’s return to the company after a little over two decades. Kojima’s triumphant return saw him clinch the MLW World Heavyweight Championship, a title he first held 20 years ago.
