Jonathan Bailey is set to make an appearance in Jurassic World 4.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Bailey shared, "I'm excited to visit Jurassic Park," with a playful joke, "I'll be playing a dinosaur."

Bailey expressed his enthusiasm for being in the film, mentioning that it is a significant cinematic experience for many people.

The original 1993 film by Steven Spielberg holds a special place in the memory of the Bridgerton star. He recalled watching it with his family on their first cinema outing together when he was just 5 years old.

Jurassic World 4, the seventh installment in the franchise, is set to be released in July 2025. The film will be directed by Gareth Edwards, known for Godzilla, and written by David Koepp from The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Bailey's career has been on the rise this year thanks to his acclaimed performance in Fellow Travelers, which won him a Critics Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries. In addition to returning for Bridgerton season 3, he is also set to appear in Netflix's Heartstopper series and star alongside Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo in the upcoming film adaptation of Wicked. (The movie musical will be released in two parts, with the first part premiering in November.)

When asked about his role in Wicked, Bailey playfully teased ET by saying that he has been showing the final cut to anyone who inquires, including his onscreen family members and friends from Bridgerton.

He jokingly said, "Yeah, I show everyone the whole film, but I haven't seen it myself."

Just before announcing the news about Jurassic World 4, Bailey shared a picture of himself enjoying the Jurassic World water ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. In the photo, Bailey is seen flashing peace signs and wearing sunglasses. He also posted a video showing a glass of water on a table shaking, a reference to classic scenes from the original movie.

The actor wrote via Instagram, “Hold onto your butts. .”
