KUALA LUMPUR: Another suspect has been detained over a Molotov cocktail attack on a nightspot on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng that occurred last week.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said the 28-year-old man was detained on Sunday (May 12).

"He has been remanded until Thursday (May 16). The latest arrests bring the total number of suspects arrested to five.

Police have since taken statements from the owner as well as the manager of the premises.

A video has been circulating on social media and WhatsApp showing at least four men on motorcycles parked along the road before the alleged incident took place.
