Fans are excited for the announcement. However, many are wondering what has happened to the hit summer favorite Bachelor in Paradise. Keep reading to find out what is known so far.

The Bachelor Returns But What About Bachelor In Paradise?

ABC has officially announced that The Bachelor will be returning for Season 29. The show and network went to their official social media platforms to share the exciting news. Now that everyone knows a fan favorite is returning, what about another fan favorite?

Fans are eager to know what exactly is happening with the hit summer series Bachelor in Paradise. There has been talk from Reality Steve and other Bachelor Nation alums that they do not think the show will happen this summer.

Currently, Jenn Tran is filming her season of The Bachelorette. According to various reports, producers are set to film The Golden Bachelorette nearly right after Jenn’s season wraps up filming. It was announced earlier this past week that her season will begin airing on ABC on July 8.

So far, there has been no talk about whether or not it’s a wrap on BIP. Many speculate that perhaps after last season’s failure, they are simply taking a year off from the summer spinoff. However, some think Season 9 may have been the nail in the coffin.

Officially, ABC has not shared if Bachelor in Paradise has been canceled, postponed or happening at a later date.

Other Speculation About The Show

Some have also voiced their opinion that aside from poor ratings and the desire to film The Golden Bachelorette, their location may also be an issue.

Many said the resort they were using is run down and many contestants are not happy filming there. Bachelor in Paradise has had a huge success rate with couples finding love. Many have gone to get engaged, get married and even have children.

What are your thoughts on ABC announcing the renewal of The Bachelor but staying quiet about Bachelor in Paradise? Do you think the show is over for good?
