@Jerry, I think usage of the word "liminal" is definitely on the rise in the past 5 years. One reason this could be happening is that images of "liminal spaces" have been getting popular on social media. People find them eerie or strange, or they have the "uncanny valley" effect.

Yea, I listened to Wibbage and WFIL growing up, knew all the DJ's. Hy Lit had a great radio voice...hey I'll be 65 in June, so I go back a ways! But, then I got cool and moved on to MMR and IOQ. (Until "Harvey in the Morning!) Ed Shachie, Michael Tearson, etc. Great time for radio!

I usually go to NYC before Thanksgiving to see Maria Schneider Orchestra. She once did great free show at Philadelphia Museum of Art

Let’s hope WPRB summer schedule renews this great Jazz Show by young Gordon .

Yeah, Patrick. He died about 6 years ago and his name has kind of evaporated. He was very much respected by certain jazz listeners.
