Steelers FIRST LOOK: New WR Roman Wilson Models Pittsburgh Uniform in L.A.

The NFLPA is staging its Rookie Premiere this weekend in Los Angeles, offering up business and marketing meetings for newest top 2024 NFL Draft picks ...

and also offering the fellas a first chance to go national by "modeling'' their new uniforms.

That's the case with new Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Roman Wilson, a third-round pick out of Michigan who has donned his No. 10 Steelers jersey for a photoshoot.

And given us a "first look.'' ...

Wilson was good for 789 yards and 12 touchdowns during Michigan's national championship season and now he brings all of that to Pittsburgh ... along with some modeling style.

Wilson, the 84th pick of this NFL Draft, has drawn comparisons to Hines Ward, based on his size and his toughness.

Our pal David Helman of the NFL on Fox podcast recently said, “This just feels like a Pittsburgh pick. Very Hines Ward-y in my opinion. Roman Wilson can play everywhere ... He’s gritty, does the dirty work.''

Wilson is not a big guy, listen by some as 5-11 and 185; Ward, of course - with his 85 career receiving touchdowns and his two Steelers Super Bowls rings - did it all at just under 6-0 and maybe 205.

What's Helman's top endorsement of the Ward'y kid?

"I promise you,'' he said, "he’s going to lay a block or two over the course of his rookie year.”
