Using nicorette quick mist berry cool flavour

So this is a bit of a impulsive decision to quit, I had started getting some breathing pains and it really freaked me out. I am seeing a doctor in a few days but I was going to get one last one since the one I have now is getting low. However the last two times I went to get one, the store was shut or the attendant had left for 30mins so I kinda took this as the universe telling me it’s time to give it up.

So I went to the chemist where all the nicorette products were right in front of the prescriptions so literally where everyone was which was so daunting. I stood back looking at all the options for atleast 5-10mins and people kept on thinking I was in the line before I just grabbed the cool berry one. I thought about the gum but I’m living with family that don’t know I smoke and so the quick mist was the closest thing I felt comfortable with. Tried it twice and it is so strong and also made me feel a bit sick but no cravings for the vape yet.

My vape is still active but I’m hoping to make it the three days and a week without it before throwing it away/letting it go flat as an insurance that I won’t buy another one.

Wish me luck and 🤞 it hasn’t affect my health too much yet. I’m living in Australia and so I am going to see if I can get some edibles as a bit of a reward and to deal with anxiety. I used to smoke weed every day before but since living with my family I haven’t smoked since November and it was easier than I thought to live without it so I think this may work.

My advice would be to really try your best to not use it much. Only use it if you get a major craving. I was stuck on the quickmists for about 6-8 months last year, it was a nightmare 😂

It burns my mouth/throat so much that I’m worried I’m using it wrong 😂 but I definitely works for this intended use though. I’ve been using it once every 30mins to an hour and I hope I at least slowly reduce it over the next week or two

Good luck you can do it ✌️ remind yourself the reason ! Have you got an app to track it?

No not yet! I’ve seen people use something but I have no idea what to look for

I use a simple free one called Quit Vaping. The symbol is a green square with a white vape outline

That quickmist is like ice or speed you can easily come addicted to it. Use TABEX

I’ll have to have a look into it, so far the quick mist is so gross but I have no desire to vape bc how much of a bad taste it leaves

What other nicotine products have u tried, like lozenges or pouches or gum?

Not yet, I just don’t want something that someone can find easily and I honestly don’t even know how to go about it. I’ve just been keeping the quickmist in my bra like I did with my vape

Why don’t u try TABEX available on Amazon? It is herbal medicine that binds to nicotinic receptors in the brain instead of nicotine. Could work for u?
