Tammy Abraham ‘almost certain’ to stay at Roma for lack of offers

Roma attacker Tammy Abraham seems destined to stay in the Italian capital despite wanting to go back to England.

The 25-year-old striker is reportedly keen on returning to the Premier League – which had been his objective at this time of last year, too.

However, the extensive absence caused by the knee injury suffered in June of 2023 seems to have overturned his and Roma’s plans.

According to Il Messaggero, all signs pointed to Abraham exiting the club last year – the injury got in the way and now Abraham is not drawing enough interest in his home country.

The newspaper reports that it’s almost certain he will remain at Roma due to a lack of offers.

The only scenario that could see him being moved away from the Giallorossi is a loan offer from some English club that would be willing to give the player a chance.

Abraham is still far from being 100% fit and Roma are hesitant to rely on him as their starting striker next season.
