Minor cousins drown in waterbody
Indore: Two sisters aged 13 and 10, who had gone to a nearby waterbody to take a bath drowned in it on Wednesday morning in Alirajpur district .
Alirajpur SP Rajesh Vyas said that Rasila, 13 and Indira, 10, residents of Bada Bhavta, Dungar Faliya had left their homes around 10 am. They were accompanied by their younger brother Vijay. As the children were taking bath, they ventured into deep water and started drowning.
One of the sisters tried to save another and both of them drowned.
Seeing his sisters drown in water, the boy immediately ran towards the villagers and alerted them. They rushed to the spot and pulled out the girls but they could not be saved.
Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar police recorded the deaths and the bodies were later handed over to the family members after postmortem examination and they carried out the final rites.
Police said that the girls were cousins and lived together in the same house.tnn
