Bonnie Lee (Crawley) Frey

Bonnie Lee (Crawley) Frey, 77, of Montgomery, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport. She was the wife of the late Charles E. “Chuck” Frey, who preceded her in death in 2017.

Born February 7, 1947, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Harold L. and Rita Mary (Bower) Crawley. Bonnie graduated from Williamsport High School in 1964 and went on to marry the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Frey on January 25, 1969. Together they raised a beautiful family.

Bonnie retired from Litton Industries. She loved being present at all of her grandchildren’s games’ and keeping score with Swedish Fish candy. She enjoyed volunteering her time at Footprints Food Pantry, was an Auxiliary member of the American Legion Post 251, and belonged to the Susquehanna Drifters camping group. Bonnie had a lot of wit to her personality that she kept all the way to the end. She also had the most giving soul, always willing to help anyone whenever she could. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Surviving are her two children; Nicole McRae (Michael) of Montgomery, and Bryan Frey of Montoursville; six grandchildren, Paden, Corbin, Dawson, Brynn, Taylor, Shelby; a brother, Bryan Crawley (Julie) of Missoula, MT; and many extended family members.

Services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bonnie’s name to Footprints Food Pantry, 71 Bower St. Ext., Montgomery, PA 17752.
