Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber will soon be parents and it was a decision that the two did not want to “rush” with, according to the model. A source tells Us Weekly that Hailey did want to wait to have a baby with Justin who she tied the knot with in 2018.
“Although she always knew she wanted to have a baby, she didn’t want to rush things after getting married,” a source told the outlet adding that, “Hailey has always known she wanted to be a mother, so this is a dream come true.”
Hailey has spoken about being scared of having a baby in the past due to people's harsh comments on the internet.
“I literally cry about this all the time,” she told The Sunday Times in May 2023. “I want kids so bad but I get scared. It's enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can't imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.”
Justin has been supportive of her decision to wait despite wanting to have started having a family earlier.
“I am going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out,” Justin told Ellen DeGeneres on her show back in 2020. “I'd love to have myself a little tribe. But, yeah, it's her body and whatever she wants to do. … I think she wants to have a few.”
“But I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman, and I think … she's just not ready yet,” he said. “And that's okay.”

Hailey and Justin announced that they were expecting their first child together last week in a joint Instagram post. The model was dressed in an all-white lace dress as she posed in an open field. Justin is seen in the video getting some shots of his wife with a film camera.
According to reports, Hailey is six months pregnant and the couple was able to keep it under wraps from the public while they were able to share the moment with close friends and relatives.
“They shared with family and close friends early on. It was important for them to keep it quiet and just enjoy for as long as possible before they publicly confirmed though,” the source told the outlet. “They asked their friends to not share until they were ready to announce.”
A source added that the couple is ecstatic about the news as are their friends and family.
“Everyone is excited for them,” the source says. “They will be great parents, and Justin will be super involved. This will be the next important project for him. He’s so excited to raise his baby. They have a name that they think is perfect. They’re also starting to decorate a nursery. They can’t wait to meet the baby.”
“They have both been very emotional about it. They feel so blessed,” the source continued. “They’ve also felt very protective of the baby from the moment they found out. They shared with family and close friends early on. It was very important for them to keep it quiet and just enjoy [it] for as long as possible before they publicly confirmed.”
