In anticipation of their next major annual convention, Anime Expo has shared that Ryoko Kui, creator of Delicious in Dungeon, will be attending as a Guest of Honor. This will be Kui’s first appearance at a North American convention, following the widespread success of her manga and its recent anime adaptation. Delicious in Dungeon is well-regarded for its unique blend of fantasy elements and culinary storytelling, and has been described as “one of the most popular manga series from publisher Yen Press for years”.
The expo will provide fans with the opportunity to engage directly with Kui through signings and presumably other events such as panels as the event’s itinerary is nutted out.
In celebration of Kui’s visit, Yen Press will release a special acrylic standee of the Delicious in Dungeon cast, available exclusively at their booth during the expo. Further details on this collectible will be shared via Yen Press’s social media platforms closer to the event
