Judging from OPPO’s recent announcement posters and invitations, this Reno12 series will add a new “silver” color scheme and use a new flowing silver glass process.
In addition, Boma Chat Station recently revealed that OPPO’s upcoming Reno12 series will adopt a flat-depth four-curved screen design. It also said that the bezels are completely flagship-level. The design of the equal-depth four-curved screen not only takes into account the visual experience of a straight screen, but also reduces accidental touches. It also retains the comfortable feel of a curved screen and solves the problem of straight screen border interference.
OPPO Reno 12 will be equipped with the Dimensity 8250 processor for the first time. The performance of this processor is very close to that of the Dimensity 8200. It is built using TSMC’s 4nm process. The CPU is an eight-core design, including an A78 large core clocked at 3.1GHz. , three A78 large cores clocked at 3.0GHz and four A55 small cores clocked at 2.0 GHz, and the GPU is Mali-G610 MC6 GPU.
As for the Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition, it will be equipped with the Reno 12 Pro. The processor will be built using TSMC’s 4nm process. The CPU is an eight-core design, including a Cortex-X3 large core clocked at 3.05GHz. There are three Cortex-A715 large cores clocked at 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A510 small cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The GPU is an 11-core Immortalis-G715. The OPPO Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro series will be released on May 23.
