Scott McTominay has hit the 250-game landmark for Manchester United's senior team.

The homegrown midfielder is the latest Academy graduate to reach the figure after being selected in Erik ten Hag's XI for our final home match of the season, against Newcastle United at Old Trafford.

Despite suffering an injury recently, he has shown his resilience and will be looking to finish the campaign on a high, with the Emirates FA Cup final to come against Manchester City. He is also set to star for Scotland in this summer's European Championship.

Erik ten Hag is pleased to see senior players return to the squad, as we face Newcastle in a key clash...

Speaking before kick-off, Scott said: "We have to go out there and play like we mean it. I feel like, for all of us, we’ve got a point to prove. We want to make sure we’re fit, available for all the games towards the end of the season, and we want to finish strong as well.”

McTominay made his first-team debut against Arsenal in 2017 and has been a reliable figure for the Reds ever since.

The 27-year-old moves into joint-87th in the all-time list, level with former defender Stewart Houston.

He is fifth among the current players, behind Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof, and has 29 goals to his name.

Well done, Scott!
