John H. Cable Jr., 93, of Fombell, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024.

Born June 2, 1930, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John H. and Judith Johnson Cable Sr.

He was a U.S. veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.

John worked at Halstead, McCarl’s and the Cranberry Auto Auction.

He enjoyed reading, collecting books, planting trees, flea markets and driving cars for the auto auction.

He is survived by the love of his life, Lorraine Finney Cable, whom he married April 27, 1962; his three children, Denise (Gary) McKean-Neely, Deborah (Kirk) Inskipt and Kevin (fiancée Carrie Alcorn) Cable; grandchildren, Kassandra (Jason) Lumley, Sean (Morgan) Inskipt, Victoria (Logan) Nencioni and Raymond Cable; and great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Lelynd and Elio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Jacee.

CABLE — Upon his request, there will be no public services for John H. Cable Jr., who died Sunday, May 12, 2024.

Cremation services were entrusted to RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.
