The Browns will kick off the NFL season in style, and with America watching.
Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons, CeeDee Lamb and Jerry Jones are coming to town for the opener.
So is Tom Brady.
The Browns will start the season at home against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 8 at 4:25 p.m. in a spotlight game, the NFL announced Monday.
The game will be broadcast by Fox, and it will be Brady’s regular-season debut as an analyst. The former Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback won a record seven Super Bowls before retiring after the 2022 season. He signed a deal with Fox but took last year off.

The complete NFL schedule will be released Wednesday at 8 p.m., but the league began slowly revealing games Monday morning, starting with the opener Thursday, Sept. 5 — the Baltimore Ravens at the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
The Cowboys are always a huge draw. They went 12-5 last season to win the NFC East before being upset at home 48-32 by the Packers in the first round of the playoffs.

Dallas is led by Prescott at quarterback, Parsons at linebacker, Lamb at receiver and Jones at owner.
The Browns were expected to get a home game in Week 1 for the second straight year because they’ll be on the road Week 2. Cleveland Browns Stadium will host a Billy Joel/Rod Stewart concert that weekend.
The Browns hosted the Bengals in the opener last year and won 24-3.

“It’s exciting to be able to open the season at home,” coach Kevin Stefanski said. “Last year’s home opener was electric, and we expect the same atmosphere. We feed off our fans’ energy and I am sure there will be a little extra juice from them with this being the first one of the 2024 season. The Cowboys are the defending NFC East champs, so it will be a great challenge and we are looking forward to it.”
The Browns last played the Cowboys in 2020, winning 49-38 on the road in Stefanski’s first season. Dallas’ most recent trip to Cleveland was a 35-10 win over the Browns in 2016. The Browns lead the series 18-14.
