Santiago, RD.- The campaign committee that will work in the municipality of San José de las Matas, in this province, was proclaimed to achieve the victory of the re-election of President Luis Abinader and the senatorial candidacy of Santiago by the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM). ), of Dr. Daniel Rivera, as well as the other candidates for deputies of the political organization.
In his speech at the proclamation ceremony, the candidate for senator, Daniel Rivera, stated that he will manage projects for the benefit of the municipality and will improve the drinking water service, the reforestation of La Sierra and the tourist growth in the area.
“I am an operating member of Plan Sierra. We are going to be fighting to reforest the country, so that La Sierra is preserved and can develop with ecotourism, to shine the tourism of the municipality,” Rivera explained.
It should be noted that the Sierra Plan is the main environmental conservation and water and forest production project in the country.
Rivera also indicated that his legislative proposal has thousands of scholarships for technical and university studies, decent jobs for young people and women, who will work caring for older adults, as well as other necessary projects for the municipality.
“As a candidate for senator, I am listening to you and seeing your needs to be able to manage projects in Congress for your benefit, together with the deputies,” said the politician who is emerging as a senator from Santiago.
“I know the history of La Placeta. I did my internship there, when it had not yet developed as it is today… I also got to know other places like El Rubio, Los Limones…,” Rivera expressed.
Finally, Rivera recalled that he did his university internship in the La Placeta sector of the San José de las Matas municipality.
For his part, the current senator of Santiago and former president of the Senate of the Republic, Eduardo Estrella called on the Perreme leaders to assume the commitment to work to achieve the victory of Rivera, who according to his words has the necessary attitudes and skills to be a great senator.
Present at the proclamation activity were the mayor of San José de las Matas, Ramón Alfredo Reyes; the vice mayor, Yolanda Espinal; the president of the PRM municipal committee, Juan Estévez; the general municipal secretary of the PRM, Joel Rodríguez.
In addition, the municipal secretary of organization of the PRM, Martín Estevez; the political coordinator, Amalfi Suárez; the deputies and also candidates, Braulio Espinal and Francisco Díaz, as well as the candidates for deputies, Aquemis Marte and Mirna López.
