Jewish California – From Gold Rush to Hollywood

Celebrate Jewish American Herritage Month by learning about Jewish history and culture in California. Scholar and author Oscar Israelowitz will discuss our state's Jewish heritage and how it relates to the Spanish Inquisition, the Spanish United States and the Gold Rush communities of Stockton, San Francisco, San Leandro and San Jose. The presentation also covers the history of Los Angeles, San Diego and much more.
