Motorcyclist dies and another seriously injured following crash in Tentree Road, Great Waldingfield, near Sudbury





A motorcyclist has died and another left seriously injured following a crash.

Police were called to a collision between two motorcycles in Tentree Road, Great Waldingfield, near Sudbury, at around 12.50pm yesterday.

Ambulance and fire crews were also at the scene.

Two junctions at Clayhall Lane and Tentree Road, towards the high street, were shut.

One biker, a man in his 60s, died at the scene.

The other, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
