What to know about the fight

The fight was originally slated for February, but was rescheduled to Saturday May 18 after Fury sustained a cut in training.

With both boxers undefeated, Fury has had 34 wins during his career – and just one draw with Deontay Wilder, back in 2018. Usyk, on the other hand, has 21 wins but just five of these fights have been at heavyweight.

Usyk was undisputed champion at cruiserweight level, with him becoming an Olympic, European and world champion at amateur level.

While they are evenly matched thanks to them both being undefeated, Fury does have the height advantage at 6ft 9in, compared to Usyk’s 6ft 3in stature. Fury also has a seven-inch reach advantage.

What time is the match taking place?

Here in the UK, the ringwalks for Fury vs. Usyk are scheduled for 11:05pm. But these timings could be subject to change, so you’ll want to keep an eye on the app to make sure you don’t miss any of the action.

Afterwards, it will be clear who the number one fighter in the heavyweight division is. And not only that, the eventual result will determine who will also become the first heavyweight boxer to become an undisputed champion in the four belt era.
