12/26/1971 - 5/10/2024
Jackson
Holly Vale was born on December 26, 1971. She passed away on May 10, 2024. Holly is survived by her father, Alan Vale, her step-mother, Nancy Vale, by her sister, Heather Nastally, her brother-in-law, David Nastally, nephews Joshua, Jacob, and Jordon Nastally, grand-nephew Grayson, and grand-nieces Paisley and Parker Nastally.
Holly was born with spina bifida but even though confined to a wheelchair her whole life, she always had enthusiasm and joy in all she did. As a youth, she participated in Special Olympics, she was in a Jackson parade and even rode on a float with Miss Michigan. Holly loved country music and was thrilled to attend a concert with Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. As an adult, Holly moved to Fowler House, a group home in Jackson, and there she made many wonderful friends and memories. She enjoyed weekly outings, working at St Vincent De Paul, going to dances, bingo, concerts, and special events. The staff at Fowler House was exceptional and Holly's family would especially like to thank Judy Reed for all the love and support she gave Holly over the years. We would also like to thank Donna Howard for her help in social work. We also thank Holly's boyfriend Ryan for his daily phone calls to Holly with love and support. Holly goes on to heaven to join her beloved grandmother Laura E. Vale, who took care of Holly for many years and showered here with love and care only a grandmother can give. Holly will also join in her passing her mother Deborah Zaborowski and step-father Steve Zaborowski. Holly's family would like to thank the staff at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson and Detroit and also all the friends and relatives that prayed for her during her final days. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Heather and family, I remember when you and your sister lived on Catalpa when I was a child. Your sister was always playing with her cats. She will be deeply missed. You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time!
