Dunking on tankies from a leftist (anti-capitalist) perspective. A tankie is someone who defends/supports authoritarian/ totalitarian regimes under the guise of socialism. The term originated from those who supported the 1956 invasion of Hungary by the Soviet Union. Nowadays, most tankies are terminally online genocide-deniers who fall heavily for the state propaganda coming from their beloved regimes.
I Want to Know More About Israeli/ Palestinian Co-Existence Groups like Standing Together and B’Tsalem But Aren’t Talked About as Much. Does Anyone Else Know About any Other ones That Aren’t as Well-Known?
I have really been loving seeing groups like them get much more recognition. Especially B’Tsalem. I know there are definitely more groups similar to them in Israel but I would absolutely love to know more of them so I can research them more.
