RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 9 is back with a bang, with two episodes released on Paramount+ on May 17. Season 9 of the show follows the same format as season 7, where no queen will be eliminated from the show. Instead, they will earn the benefactor badges throughout the week, and the queens who score the highest number of badges will be up against each other in the finale episode.
Apart from introducing all the queens, episodes 1 and 2 saw captivating competitions and graceful performances from the queens. While episode 1 saw Angeria Paris VanMichaels and Jorgeous win the benefactor badge, the former took home the victory after a tough lip-sync battle.
Episode 2 saw Gottmik and Plastique Tiara earn the benefactor badge and Gottmik emerging victorious after their lip-sync.
How did Angeria Paris Von Michael win episode 1 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 1?
The main challenge in the first episode of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars had the queens writing their rendition of a verse in Drag Queens Save the World a song by RuPaul. After writing it, they had to perform on it as well.
Angeria not only stole the show in that challenge but also gave a stellar performance on The Signature Look, a signature fragrance runway show. She gave her funny "Le Southern Belle" perfume line.
Pitting against her for the lip-sync was the other benefactor winner Jorgeous.
Jorgeous was the weed and poppers scent for The Signature Look and was very close in competition to Angeria Paris Michael. When the two went into the lip-sync battle, Angeria outperformed Jorgeous, and was named the winner of the first episode.

Episode 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 9 had the queens compete for The Paintball, in which, they had to walk three separate runways. Gottmik was the winner of this challenge in her season of RuPaul's Drag Race, so she won this one with ease.
Her monochromatic purple Versace look, her The Scream dress, and her punk-rock painted ensemble were all highly impressive.
Alongside Gottmik was Platique Tiara, who is known for her queen-like presence on social media. Her dresses on the runway were also as creative as Gottmik's.
And despite scoring the coveted benefactor badge, Plastique Tiara couldn't sustain herself against Gottmik in the lip-sync battle, which made Gottmik the winner of episode 2.
Who was cut off in episodes 1 and 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 9?
The winner of the episode gets a chance to choose a contestant to cut off from becoming the winner in the next episode. Upon winning the episode, Angeria chose Roxxxy Andrews to cut off because to her, she was a strong contender.
But her cut-off selection was rendered useless as Roxxxy wasn't in the top two in episode 2.
After winning episode 2, Gottmik chose to cut off Angeria because she won the first episode, proving her prowess on the show. Now it is for the fans to see if Angeria indeed hits the top 2 in the next episode and is exempted from competing for the win, or safely remains in the middle.
