LORNA SHORE is a force to be reckoned with in the brutal world of deathcore. Hailing from New Jersey, the band emerged in 2010, churning out a sound that blends technical proficiency with bone-crushing heaviness. Their music is known for its relentless blast beats, guttural vocals, and Adam Dutkiewicz-influenced guitar work (think KILLSWITCH ENGAGE).
The band gained notoriety with the breakout single “Immortal” in 2016, which showcased their punishing sound and then-frontman CJ McMahon‘s inhuman vocals. The band continues to push boundaries with each release, solidifying their place at the forefront of modern deathcore.
With the addition of new vocalist Will Ramos, “LORNA SHORE” unleashed their groundbreaking fourth full-length, “Pain Remains“, in 2022, earning “album of the year” accolades upon its release (Loudwire) with media hailing it as “one of the best symphonic metal and deathcore albums”(Metal Injection). Recently, the quintet gave fans an instrumental edition of the record, as well as a full band playthrough video for the “Pain Remains” trilogy.
LORNA SHORE line-up:
Michael Yager – bass
Adam De Micco – guitar
Will Ramos – vocals
Austin Archey – drums
Andrew O’Connor – guitar
