Deborah Ann Woll Rejoins Marvel Universe in Daredevil Born Again

Deborah Ann Woll is set to reprise her role as Karen Page in the Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again. Initially, there were doubts about her return, especially as the series began to take shape without her. However, after a series of creative revisions and vocal support from fans, it was finally confirmed in February that Woll would be joining her co-stars Charlie Cox and Elden Henson on set.

The confirmation came following the leakage of several on-set photographs where Woll was spotted filming scenes not just with Cox, who returns as Matt Murdock, and Henson, who portrays Franklin "Foggy" Nelson, but also with Jon Bernthal, known for his role as The Punisher.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 has finished filming April. Outside of her return to the MCU, Woll has appeared in the Escape Room film franchise, played roles in Ruby Sparks and the upcoming biopic Queen of the Ring, which explores the life of the pioneering female wrestler Mildred Burke.

Daredevil actor Charlie Cox recently shared his enthusiasm for reuniting with co-stars Woll and Henson at the AwesomeCon. During his talk, Cox described Karen and Foggy as the "heartbeat" of the show, saying:

"Aw it’s so cool, man. So cool. Yeah, it was pretty heartbreaking when they weren’t around initially. When we came back to filming and they had made some changes, which you guys obviously probably read about and stuff, you know, it was clear that Foggy and Karen are kind of the heartbeat of our show. They always were."
