"She is a magical child". 80-year-old Robert De Niro talks about raising his 13-month-old daughter

Famous American actor Robert De Niro spoke about raising his daughter. The 80-year-old celebrity shared that he is incredibly happy to be the father of 13-month-old Gia.

This became known in an interview with The View. The iconic actor became a father for the seventh time in April 2023. De Niro and his 45-year-old girlfriend Tiffany Chen had a baby girl, whom Robert now calls "pure joy" and "the only person" who loves him "unconditionally."

When the star was asked about fatherhood, De Niro admitted that "people help him," so he doesn't do everything on his own. "She's the only one who loves me, unconditionally," the celebrity said. The happy couple confirmed the news of the birth of their child a month after the baby was born.

De Niro began dating Chen in August 2021, after his divorce from ex-wife Grace Hightower. In addition to Gia, Robert has six children: Dren, 56, Rafael, 47, twins Julian and Aaron, 28, Elliot, 25, and Helen Grace De Niro, 12.

"She is such an adorable child. She's so sweet," the star dad said about his little girl in an interview. "[When I] look at her, everything else disappears. So it's a great joy and relief just to be with her in this moment." Robert sees "a lot of similarities" between himself and Gia. He said that the girl's siblings are "very happy" and that she also gets a lot of love from her brother Rafael's three young children.
