[TOMT] Repost: 80s TV episode where newlyweds go to a hotel and a man has an affair with a ghost(?) woman and gets her pregnant. Ghost woman's face loses more features with each visit

Solved

Another episode of a weird/schlocky American television sci-fi/horror anthology I saw a few scenes of in the early to mid 1990s, probably around 1995 or 1996. It looked like the show was from the late 70s or mid 80s.

Newlyweds or a recently married couple go to a hotel or a motel.

The husband meets a mysterious woman in one of the rooms that happens to also be kind of like an alternate dimension and has an affair with her. He meets her several more times over the course of the episode and she is shown to be pregnant and her face is slowly disappearing, like losing its features and becoming blank.

Ultimately, he brings his adult (or just grown?) children to the same hotel years later, and he wanders into the same room. The woman he had an affair with now has a completely blank face and the child he impregnated her is grown and also has missing (blank)/disfigured facial features. They trap him in the room at the end of the episode with him crying out in horror.

I also think one of the plot points is that the room the man keeps wandering into only has this ghost woman at night. During the day it appears completely empty.

I don't think it's an episode of the 1985 reboot of The Twilight Zone, Creepshow, Tales from the Darkside, The Outer Limits or The Hunger.

Anyone know the name of the series or episode?

I wish I remembered more or at least wrote down some of the details from the TV guide but I was like 9 or 10 when I saw it for the first and last time.
