The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, California, with vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, drummer John Densmore and guitarist Robby Krieger. The band took its name from Aldous Huxley's book The Doors of Perception, the title of which was a reference to a William Blake quotation: "If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite."

Indiana Jones and the Lizard King
Han Solo and Mr. Mojo Risin
Harry brought the pot!
Harrison Ford was always much more than a carpenter. When Michelle Phillips saw Star Wars for the first time and saw him on screen, her first response was: "Hey, that's my pot dealer!"
What is this Doors documentary?
I’m assuming it’s probably this
anywhere else to watch other than SOLDOUT
Try freevee
It’s on YouTube
Could you link it? I’m just seeing the encore on YouTube
What a mind F that is .. imagine those two meeting who knew, cool pic!
Harrison Ford was a Doors roadie I thinks it even on his wiki and other sites
I think Harrison Ford was a Union Carpenter on movie sets before his break.
That's crazy, man
I always felt like Han Solo was Jim in space.
Two of my favorite people! Nice!
“Harrison Ford and Jim Morrison did have an indirect connection, but there's no substantial evidence suggesting they knew each other personally. Before his acting career took off, Harrison Ford worked as a carpenter in Los Angeles. During this time, he did some work at The Doors’ offices, as well as other venues and homes connected to the music industry in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Jim Morrison, the lead singer of The Doors, was active and very influential in the music scene during this time. However, there are no confirmed interactions or personal relationships between them beyond this circumstantial connection.”
He wasn’t helping in the filming of a documentary. This is myth/lore taken out of context in the picture.
Harrison Ford has stated that he did work on it, he was camera operator #2, but he says he doesn't think any of his footage was in focus
Some of his footage from San Jose is pretty good. You can see him setting up the camera in some audience 8mm.
it’s been confirmed by close sources, namely Paul Ferrara and Frank Lisciandro, that Harrison Ford was one of only a few people that worked on Feast of Friends, the Doors’ self produced documentary
Wrong. He was on the Feast of Friends crew, and can be seen in multiple places during filming. He is even addressed by Paul Ferrara in one outtake for being in the shot. Doesn't mean they reallt "knew" eachother, but their paths crossed multiple times.
Well I stand corrected, my source was wrong. I learned a few interesting facts today.
this is still one of the coolest celebrity connections i’m aware of
Pretty sure he helped film the Hollywood bowl concert
Somebody needs to do a .gif mashup of Indiana Jones with his dad's notebook where he gets Hitler to sign it, but instead of Hitler it's Jim Morrison. I'm sure there's a clip from him signing stuff for groupies that could be put with the Joneses.
I think YOU are that somebody!
