Chatsworth boys volleyball claims second straight Open Division City title

It was so nice, the Chancellors did it twice.

The Chatsworth boys volleyball team won its second straight LA City Section Open Division title in five sets over No. 2-seeded Eagle Rock Saturday evening a Cal State Northridge.

No. 1 Chatsworth took a commanding two-set lead before Eagle Rock won the third and fourth set. The Chancellors would regain composure and win the almighty fifth set to complete its victory 25-17, 26-24, 21-25, 20-25, 15-11.

It's the program's 11th City title, but more impressively, marks the third time in four seasons Chatsworth has lifted the Open Division crown. (2021, '23, '24)

Chatsworth's Justin Dickson and Grant Chang had 12 and 11 kills, respectively. Chase Dunn added nine kills and five digs while Nate Kim and Kevin Rabaja pitched in 9 and 14 kills.
