In 2022, MySA reported that The Toasted Yolk Cafe announced plans to expand in the Hill Country, and while we've yet to see locations open in places like New Braunfels or San Marcos, it appears that an outpost may be coming soon to San Antonio.

A recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) shows that a Toasted Yolk is in the works for 911 N. Hunt Lane, placing the soon-to-come restaurant near Texas State Highway 151 and the burgeoning Potranco Road. The TDLR filing goes on to describe the scope of the new Toasted Yolk's construction, which is said to begin on May 20 and complete by August 19.

The Toasted Yolk Cafe opened its first location in Conroe, Texas in 2010, later expanding to have locations across Texas, Southern states like Mississippi and Alabama, and even up north in Ohio.
