Seven Samurai is a Japanese samurai action film which was released in 1954. It portrays the tale of a retired warrior who assembles six warriors to safeguard their village against a group of bandits. Soon, troubles mount up when the village gets threatened by a group of 40 bandits.  The movie stars Takashi Shimura, Yoshio Inaba, Daisuke Katō, Seiji Miyaguchi, Minoru Chiaki, Isao Kimura, and Toshiro Mifune, among others.

Grave of the Fireflies is a 1988 Japanese animated war drama film. They struggle for survival, while their mother dies due to multiple injuries after a bomb attack.
