Pet of the Week: His name is Earl, and this sweet senior Tiger cat needs a home

Editor's Note: Earl has been adopted!

The Taunton Animal Shelter Pet of the Week is Earl, a male tiger cat.

Earl was found in an abandoned building, and he was skinny and hungry.

His vet visit went well: his diagnostic blood profiles were in normal ranges.

The vet estimated his age to be 12 years, and said that his curled ear is from an old injury.

Earl is putting on weight at the shelter.

He's friendly, gentle, handsome, and a kind soul, and he does well with the house cats at the shelter.

Playing is not high on his to-do list. Resting and getting attention from shelter staff are his favorite things, not far behind eating.

Earl would like a quiet home. Older children would be ok.

An approved adoption application is required to bring him home.
