Description
Anglo-Irish actress and courtesan (1761–1816) who was the mistress and companion of the future King William IV of the United Kingdom, with whom she had ten illegitimate children. Third-person ANS signed “Mrs. Jordan,” one page, 6.5 x 5.25, no date. Writing from her home at Bushy House, Jordan sends compliments and informs her correspondents that she "is in great distress." In fine condition, with light soiling and one tiny hole just touching a single word of text.
