One Maidenhead is one of the new developments in Maidenhead town centre
A consultation to hear people’s views about the design of new developments in the town is being held by Maidenhead Neighbourhood Forum (MNF).
MNF volunteers will be on the High Street on Friday, May 24 from 10am to 3pm with displays of various building designs for people to view and comment upon.
The survey will also be available online at: mnf.org.uk
Andy Woodcock, MNF topic group leader on design, said: “Design of buildings was one of the six big topic areas put forward by local people in our first surveys of opinion in 2023, so at this stage we need hard evidence about what kind of design people prefer – and why”.
Design is one of the six topic areas in the draft Neighbourhood Plan, with the others being built heritage, biodiversity, housing, climate and getting around.
