Switching things up and I'm looking to get a perm but I am EXTREMELY gun shy after the horrific perms my mom and grandma made me get as a kid and I'm looking for people with recent positive experiences with a stylist. I know they're expensive and I've budgeted a pretty decent amount of money so don't be shy if it was at a higher end salon. I know there's reviews on Yelp and whatnot but with how easy they are to manipulate I don't trust reviews on sites like that.
