Charlotte F. Moslander, 76, of Beatrice passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, surrounded by her family at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln. She was born on February 16, 1948, in Fairbury and grew up in Western before moving to Beatrice at the age of 12. She graduated from Beatrice High School in 1966 and at the age of 17 she started working at Henderson Motors/Burnham Motors/Beatrice Ford Lincoln Mercury working for 51 years as the Office Manager before retiring in 2016. This was the only job Charlotte had her whole working career.  Charlotte married Billy Moslander on June 14, 1970, at St. John Lutheran Church in Beatrice. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Beatrice and a former member of the Beatrice Women’s Jaycees. She Loved spending time with her granddaughters and grand dogs and attending her daughter and granddaughters sporting events. She enjoyed planting flowers in pots, baking, going for car rides, and decorating for seasons and holidays.

Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Billy of Beatrice; daughter, Melissa (Scott) Oates of Beatrice; granddaughters, Cheyne Oates and special friend Michael, Kendall Oates, Quin Oates, Rumer Oates; brothers-in-law, Dan (LaVonna) Moslander, Brad (Kris) Moslander all of Pickrell; sister-in-law, Timi (Tom) Holsen of Livermore, CA; nieces, Chrystal (Eric) Wallman, Megan Moslander, Jennifer Sandersfeld, Sheylynne Holsen, Jadyn Holsen; nephews, Lucas Moslander and special friend Skye, Cody (Kayla) Moslander, Gene (Jackie) Sandersfeld, Rob (Peg) Sandersfeld; great-nephews , Kason Wallman, Rilyn Wallman, Cameron Knepp and special friend Chloe Fry; great-niece, Hannah Snyder; numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Evelyn (Jackson) McAdams; an infant son; brother-in-law, Steve (Marcia) Moslander; mother-in-law, Marie Moslander Hajek; step-father-in-law, John Hajek; father-in-law, William Moslander; great-niece, Courtney Knepp.

The family would like to give a heartful thanks to the nurse at Bryan West Hospital, Michelle.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church of Beatrice with Pastor Arden Dorn officiating. The service will be livestreamed on St. John Lutheran Church’s Facebook page. A family prayer service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the church. Inurnment will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery. Cremation has taken place but a register book for signatures will be available on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M.  with the family greeting relatives and friends from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
