Great way to see the historic areas of Strasbourg - The reviews we read about this audio walking tour were very accurate - it is a great tour and extremely well organized. We picked up the backup that came with the tour package at the tourism office across from the cathedral. Having locally produced gifts to open up during the tour added a special touch to an already impressive tour. The level of information provided in the tour was well crafted and we felt we walked away with a much better understanding of the history of the city. One thing I would advise is starting out as early as you can. We picked up the tour backpack at 9 am when the tourism office opened. At that point in time there were only a few people in the square around the cathedral. Within an hour the same area was packed with people and got progessively crowded as the day went on. By the way we did one of the Batorama boat tours later in the day and it covered similar information to the audio tour but not as well. It was actually a very boring tour and not worth the money. Stick with the walking tour.

A fun and informative exploration of the Alsace region - Informative, well laid out walk, nice little gifts relevant to the region and great instructions from the organisers. We learnt a lot about the town and appreciated the sites more than we would have without the detail, maps and app. Highly recommend and a better alternative to the free walks available which lack focus, information and personal touch.

Fun and informative - This was a very informative yet entertaining walking tour. The app is well done and the local gifts within the backpack are a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time at this.

Fun tour through Strasbourg - Fun tour that you can do at your own pace. Takes you past plenty of fun places, shops and restaurants. The bag with gifts was a very nice touch. Great experience!

A fun way to see the key sites! - I absolutely LOVED this experience. The app worked well, and I enjoyed learning fun facts about the city and taking the occasional quiz. The gifts were enjoyable, too. I was alone in Strasbourg, and this made me feel as if I was traveling with a local. It was VERY hot, so nice to be able to stop and rest halfway and then return to the tour later. I am confident that I would not have seen so much of the city without this tool. If i find myself in other cities that offer it, I will not hesitate!

The best way to explore Strasbourg - This is our second time using Hopla guide, after doing the Colmar tour 2 years ago. The experience in both tours is fantastic! The developers have put so much love onto making the tours :)
The bag contains 6 very nice presents, but still the best part of the tour is the stories about the place that you learn along! You also get to see places you wouldn't otherwise (in Strasbourg for example, there is a bonus tour to unlock which takes you a bit off the touristic part, and is super interesting!!!)
Despite having done audio guide tours in other cities & countries, nothing compares to Hopla guide :) I really hope they expand to more cities :)

A visit to the cities and towns of Alsace for christmas. - Stayed at christmes in a central hotel. We enjoyed every moment. The city was decorated. Food and drink everywere. And happy people.highly recommendt.

Tour with a twist - Nice selfguided tour with a twist, you receive local items for your good answer! That means you get to visit the city, all the best places, have fun while finding your way and answer questions, and also receive cool items and things to eat. There is even a bonus tour that we did on our second day in Strasbourg.

Great tour with children - I did this self guided tour with my two children under age 10. We greatly enjoyed and learned a lot about Strasbourg’s history. My kids enjoyed the interactive app guide. Highly recommend!

Explore on your own - A great way to walk and visit the sights in Strasbourg and learn a bit of history about them at your own pace, which was helpful traveling with two kids who can get bored. They really loved the bags and revealing the surprises along the way. At some points the directions in the app were a bit lacking, but the map helped fill in the gaps. Would love to see something like this in other cities.
