Hi all,
We'll be going to bar harbor next week on a cruise that has 1 day in port. I've seen the ads for the island explorer bus, but that only runs may-aug or Oct depending on the site you read. Do...how do you get around Bar Harbor, Maine without a car in May?
Is my only option a pricey cab?

There is Oli's Trolley that will do a tour. There are electric cars to rent. We're going to be there this Friday for a week! I hope you have a wonderful time! The Island Explorer runs from June, for those who may be reading this!
You get around Bar Harbor by walking. It's a very small village. To get into Acadia National Park you either book a tour through your ship or you book Oli's Trolley or National Park Tours.
All great responses one can easily Google . I usually only trust locals when it comes to specific information that is time sensitive. I’m sure the cruise ship would have good information about travel options on the island .
