Went from s9 to s24 ultra. Pre-ordered the 512gb version. Love it

Me too. Same way. It was a huge upgrade for me. It was more than expected because I am glad there's a note on this phone. I use my phone a lot at work, and on my off days.

Went from note 8 to s24ultra, this thing is faster than my ssd laptop tf.

That's so funny I literally did exactly the same s9 to s24 ultra... still getting use to the non edge phone but loving everything about the phone..battery life, massive screen the list goes on....

I don't miss the edge screen at all. I still have my s9 but the battery life is trash as I used it as a digital camera for streaming for countless 8hr runs while plugged in. Lol. I don't use the Spen in day to day normal use but I like it when i feel I want it. I'm going on avg 2 days on a single charge. It's a beast

u/Express_System_260 avatar

Wow I still got mine and never thought of using it to stream sheesh good tip. Same here though needed to charge the s9 multiple times a day.

No complaints here at all. If you are coming from an s10 you will love the upgrade.

I love mine. No complaints so far.

Coming from a Note 20 Ultra, this phone feels like the most refined piece of tech I've ever owned. I had considered switching to an iPhone since my whole family has one. So glad I didn't. The non reflective screen, the battery, and the well rounded flexibility it offers, it's just an amazing device.

it's going to be a night and day difference

Best phone. Got the 1TB exclusive blue colour.

Base s24 best bang for buck

I love it, switched after having the 15 pro max and other iPhone over the years. Only complaint I have is the camera. The 12MP camera is great but when I try to use the 50 or 200MP camera, it does it's little automatic photo optimizing, and it makes it looks absolutely horrible. Other than that the phones been awesome!

I also switched from iPhone 15 Pro, and I am really happy with my choice.

I just upgraded from the s20 for my birthday last week and it's excellent. I was worried I'd miss my old reliable workhorse, but this is faster, prettier, and I'm loving the camera. I'm sure you'll love it too.

Absolutely love mine. Battery lasts all day, screen is amazing and no issues with performance yet.

Check out r/S24ultra.

Swapped from a huawei mate 20 pro. I didnt want to change my phone, but the battery life was trash and i kinda wanted to refresh, phone worked fine in general, or so i thought.

After using the S24U for over a month I can say my old phone didn't in fact work fine. This phone is a beast. Its so fast anything you do on it seems smooth as fuck, I don't think I've ever had it get hot even while gaming and the customisation on it is wide too.

Personally if I didnt use my phone a lot I probably wouldn't have got it. The price is too high to justify for light use imho. However to me my phone is like another part of me in terms of my life, getting around, finances, music, information, entertainment i do it all through my phone and in that sense it's honestly a flawless piece of tech

I love mine. Easotthe best phone I've had. Screen is amazing. Never any lag and the battery lasts forever.

I upgraded from an S10+ to the s24 ultra 2 weeks ago so you'll have a similar experience. I'm from EU so I finally have a snapdragon and its very noticeable. The battery is 10x better than with the S10, the camera is sooooo much better but that was already pretty great with the s22 and s23. The screen and size are perfect for me but I like big phones so you'll have to consider that. It's not THAT much bigger than the plus version so if that one isn't too big you'll be just fine with the ultra. Also for my work I have to write a lot of stuff down sometimes so the S Pen is a fucking LIFE SAVER. I didn't know how useful it was gonna be until I started using it. I think it's more than worth it

You bought it but you don't know the standard, right? As long as you are happy with your choice, then it's fine. Only iPhone 15 Pro Max can be a challenger to this phone (in my POV) but I already got tired of iOS.

I would say the same.

I have had 2. Both had charging issues. Would not fast charge. Seems like an issue that is happening with quite a few of the .

I swapped my 1 + 11 for an S24 ultra. And I can't see happier. It's a little expensive, but I think it's worth it. I feel the price is there

u/Mailootje avatar

No complaints! I love it

I wish i could upgrade the battery in my s10 to a bigger one, i really dont wanna swtich from this phone.

u/robertclarke240 avatar

Come into the 20s. It's crazy here but great🙃

so worth it

Went from iphone 12 pro max to the s24 ultra and it's a beast. I love my phone

u/Training-Ad-4178 avatar

I have been using it for a few months after using apple for 10 years.

I like it, but I'm gonna switch to a pixel soon. there's things I just don't like at all about Samsung.

u/RitoWalters avatar

Camera could use a little work, but I'm sure it'll be smoothed out over time via software updates.

u/neytrd avatar

From ulefone 17 pro to s24 u 512er, lovn it, best phone

Came from s22 and the 24 ultra is much better.

The s22 was the worst phone ive ever owned.

Serious device.

u/robertclarke240 avatar

It's excellent! I love everything about it. No issues whatsoever. I highly recommend it.

Loving it. Hate screen protectors, believed samsung when they claimed the screen was tough as nails. Found a scratch on it the other day. Probably from keys.

Definitely use a protector if you get one

I honestly prefer the S23 Ultra because of the design. I loved the curved display more because it looks way more premium than the flat display on the S24 Ultra

That's an insane upgrade! I have the s22 ultra and I pretty much have the same software now and the hardware is not that much different. The new software significantly improved my battery life.

u/TurdBurgHerb avatar

Awesome unless you want to take pictures of action or your children. The camera struggled badly with motion.

Brand loyalists will create posts based upon other things to defend the camera. They literally pretend no one complains about the blur. Its right fucked up.

Nah, I think it's too big. I'd get the base S24.

Only if it has snapdragon in your region. Otherwise go for base S23 with snapdragon 8 gen 2 it is a decent buy.

Exynos S24 us actually good. Most people just gave biases against Exynos chips due to a couple of worse generations. But Exynos has actually performed better in some areas in the past, and there have definitely been bad SD gens as well

It's only not worth tbe price if you use S23 Ultra since the difference is not that much. But if you're from something older? Than S24U is really worth it and you can use it for long since it have 7 years of support

u/babygirldaddyissues avatar

yeah i went from an s8 to the s24 ultra. my s8 is still working like a champ but she doesn't sync with my point of sale device. when i get a phone i hold on to it FOREVER. i will be keeping this one for more than likely 10+ years. Unless they bring the headphone jack back. lmaooo I have an adapter so i can do the jack and charge at the same time.

PLEASE go try one in person before you buy it.

I went from an s10e to S24 Ultra and returned the ultra within a month. It was just too big and heavy to be practical for me. Got the s24 base instead and love it.

I used my s10e for more than 4 years (with Lineage Android 14 now), and I got a s23u last week, you're right, they are toooo big. But I'm getting used to it.
