Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands Softball High School Player of the Week Poll.

High school sports fans can vote for which softball players they think were standouts during the previous week.

The poll will be open from Friday through Thursday. The winner will be announced on Friday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited.

Rules of the Road

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week's Player of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Alana Ljoko, Monomoy

Alana Ljoko won back-to-back polls with 42% of the votes. She was 3-for-4 with two triples in a 7-6 win over Dennis-Yarmouth.

This week's candidates

Dennis-Yarmouth second baseman Savannah Azoff attempts to turn a double play after forcing  Anna Bennett at second in a May 5, 2022 game..

Savannah Azoff, Dennis-Yarmouth

Azoff picked up the win as she allowed two hits and no runs, struck out six and walked three over five innings for a 12-0 win over Nauset. She also had two hits at the plate.

Briggs struck out seven over three innings on the mound, and went 2-for-4 (two runs, five RBIs, three-run home run) at the plate in a 16-3 win over Barnstable.

Brooke Chicoine, Dennis-Yarmouth

Chicoine drove in five runs on three hits (two singles, one double) that led the Dolphins to a 20-6 win over the St. John Paul II.

Jazlyn Coyer, Barnstable

Coyer finished 5-for-5 with eight RBIs and three runs in a 26-2 win over Mashpee.

Laura Feliz de Jesus, Cape Tech

Feliz de Jesus had five hits and four runs in a loss to South Shore Tech.

Lily Furman, Monomoy

Furman was 2-for-3 with four runs and four RBIs in a 15-2 win over Sturgis.

Willa Leighton, Monomoy

Leighton pitched a complete game as she allowed six hits, two runs (none earned), one walk and struck out eight, and was 3-for-5 (two triples, two RBIs, two runs) at the plate in a 8-2 win over Nauset.

Mawn finished 3-for-3 with six RBIs, one run, and two triples for the Sharks win over Sturgis.

Olivia Meda, Bourne

Meda was 3-for-4 with three doubles and two RBIs in a 9-3 win over Old Rochester.

Morrell pitched seven innings and struck out 11, and she finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Bourne.

Sara Ormsten, Barnstable

Ormsten went 4-for-4 with five runs and seven RBIs in a win over Mashpee.

Madi Palmer, Upper Cape

Palmer ended 2-for-3 for three RBIs and three runs in a 22-2 win over Mashpee.

Victoria Dos Santos, Barnstable

Dos Santos was 3-for-4 with three runs and four RBIs for the Red Hawks victory over Mashpee.
