The Role

Lead and drive the finance team towards achieving organisational objectives while ensuring compliance and financial health assessment. Oversee operations, enforce regulatory standards, and advise on strategic financial decisions, fostering resolution and growth. This pivotal role offers a dynamic opportunity to shape company success through effective financial management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the finance department and its team members & contribute to the organisation’s goals.
  • Manage financial data generation and analysis, oversee finance department operations, policy development, budgeting, forecasting, recruitment, training, and procedure assessments.
  • Supervise account reconciliations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide financial guidance to colleagues and executive management.
  • Oversee financial status documentation, reporting and forecasting, and mediate financial matters for amicable resolutions among stakeholders.
  • Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
Qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's or master’s Degree in business or accounting
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA CA, CIMA), desired
  • Minimum 8+ years or more of finance experience in a relevant field
  • Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot table.
  • A track record of leading and managing finance departments.
  • Possess expertise in staff development, process improvement, proficiency in business and data intelligence software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities across all organisational levels.
