Transfer guidance Leeds United will be hoping to ignore this summer has been released by the EFL in the form of next season’s window dates. The Whites are in the midst of a play-off campaign they hope will see them registered as a Premier League outfit from May 27, the day after Wembley’s play-off final.

If the Whites do fail to get over the line on Thursday or at Wembley a week on Sunday, their summer window will officially open on June 14 as an EFL outfit. Whether Leeds are promoted or not, it is expected to be another busy summer for Daniel Farke and the club’s top brass.Another season in the second tier would see wealthy vultures circling for the best Leeds talent and Farke’s side keen to cut their cloth accordingly without top-flight income.

The winter transfer window EFL sides would open on January 1, 2025, but then run well into February next year. Clubs will be able to trade until 11pm on Monday, February 3.
