Charleston police seek help to find suspect in downtown parking garage robbery

The Charleston Police Department (CPD) is seeking help from the public in locating a strong-arm robbery suspect.

Detectives are attempting to locate the man they believe was involved in a robbery that occurred on Sunday, May 12 at a parking garage in downtown Charleston.

The garage is on Wentworth Street near Saint Philip Street, CPD said in a release.

Police said the suspect in the picture stole a victim's purse while she was walking in the parking garage.
